It's been a long time since I've been able to model something for myself. Most of my time recently has been spent programming or designing animation systems, so today I was excited to have a few hours to build something new. I built these legs as a sort of landing system for a stylized circular ship (which I'll detail in another post when I've worked on it a little more).
It's pretty straight forward hard-surface modeling. There's still more detail I'd like to add, especially in the underside of the panels and the inner workings of the foot and knees. In the next couple days when I have down time I'll add more detail, fully model the chasis of the ship and work on texturing it.
